US Equity mutual funds

Hello, I am looking for historical data on US Equity mutual funds. I am conducting research on the following topic: The aim of the research is to explain how the compensation structure of portfolio managers affects their risk-taking in mutual funds and how this behavior is reflected in the performance of the funds.

I tried to find data on incentive fees, management fees or other data on fixed salaries and bonuses of portfolio managers in the Eikon Refinitiv desktop application (LSEG), but unfortunately without success. When I searched for management fees, I found that they are only listed for individual funds and for the years 2021-2025. However, I was unable to download this data using the RStudio (API) connection - but I would still need data for the years 2014-2025. Is there any way to get this data from this platform?

First of all, I assume that you are using the third party R library to retrieve data as we don't provide any libraries for R. Our current LSEG Data Libraries support Python, Dot Net, and Typescript.

The best resource for content questions is the Helpdesk support team, which can be reached by submitting queries through LSEG Support. The support team will either have the required content expertise ready available or can reach out to relevant content experts to get the answer for you.

You need to ask for the Excel formula, such as =RDP.Data, that can be used to retrieve the required data. Then, we can help you converting that formula to code.

Otherwise, you can use the Data Item Browser tool to search for fields and parameters.
