Exact endpoints and documentation for building an Economic Calendar (Real-time + Historical)

I am currently working on implementing a custom Economic Calendar application and I need direct guidance on which specific APIs and endpoints to use within the LSEG ecosystem.

My application has two primary requirements:

* Historical & Upcoming Events List: I need to retrieve a schedule of economic events, including upcoming dates, historical events, previously published values, forecasts, and revisions.

* Real-Time Updates: I need to listen for and receive the actual published values in real-time the moment the data is announced.

While I am already familiar with the =ECI RIC structure for macroeconomic indicators, I am struggling to find the exact services to call. Could you please provide:

* REST Endpoints: What are the exact API endpoints for fetching the historical data and the calendar structure?

* Streaming Solution: Which specific streaming service or endpoint (e.g., WebSocket API) is recommended for real-time announcements of these =ECI RICs?

* Documentation: Could you share direct links to the relevant API documentation, reference guides, or tutorials for these specific endpoints?

This Events Calendar delivered via API is the only endpoint I am aware of for retrieving event data.

Typically, this forum is dedicated to software developers using LSEG APIs. The moderators on this forum do not have deep expertise in every bit of content available through LSEG products, which is required to answer content questions such as this one.

The best resource for content questions is the Helpdesk support team, which can be reached by submitting queries through LSEG Support. The support team will either have the required content expertise ready available or can reach out to relevant content experts to get the answer for you. As I continue to explore the API responses for the economic calendar, I have noticed a few data points that I am struggling to locate. Could you please help me with the following:

1. Event Relevance / Importance:In the LSEG Workspace, there is a clear "Relevance" indicator (e.g., High, Medium, Low impact / volatility) for economic events. However, I haven't been able to find this specific field in the standard events API response. Could you point me to the correct endpoint or the exact field name where I can retrieve this relevance score?

2. Event-to-Instrument Mapping:Is there an API endpoint or a recommended methodology to programmatically link these economic events (or their =ECI RICs) to the specific financial instruments they affect? I am looking for a way to identify which tradable instruments (e.g., specific FX pairs, bonds, or indices) are most relevant to, or typically impacted by, a given macroeconomic announcement.

3. Event Descriptions:Lastly, is there an endpoint where I can fetch the detailed textual descriptions, definitions, or methodology notes for these specific macroeconomic events?

RTO, RTDS, and RTMDS are real-time servers that can provide real-time streaming data to consumers.

RTO is available on cloud so it requires Internet connection to connect to the RTO server.

RTDS contains a set of software components. Typically, they are installed in the client's environment to distribute real-time data in the client's network. RTDS is configured to the LSEG real-time data feed to retrieve real-time data.

I am not sure about RTMDS, It could be a real-time server hosted by LSEG. Consumers may connect to this server through VPN.
