I’m using the API to retrieve private equity firm information, but I’m now getting a “The access denied” error.

I was able to use this service a few days ago, so could you please check whether my permissions have changed? Thank you.

I’m using LSEG Workspace with the account.

I’m trying to retrieve private equity firm information through the API, but my test request now returns the following error:

LDError: The access denied. Requested universes: ['5086801579']. Might be some of the RICs or fields. I would recommend testing a single or in chunks, but best is to confirm access permission with LSEG Support for clarity. Plus, you can refer to this article for proper use of the syntax:

It used an old Refinitiv library but still valid for LSEG data Library too.

what type of limitation can cause this error ?

Based on the best possibility - there can be either the particular private firm or PESCREENER whole. But do the client need special access for API data?

This seems to be an access issue, and we do not have visibility to client's access permission. I would recommend reaching out to the client's LSEG account manager or LSEG Support for this issue.
