Is There a Way to Automatically Update Economic Events for Each New Week using Python?

Question

Our client is looking to get this data updated via excel every week.

He's exporting the data through Economic Monitor App.  And selecting Download Realtime data (with formula). Client is looking if there's a way to fix/circumvent this? Because, otherwise, he needs to redownload the set every week again.

I tried using the Search API along with some trial-and-error methods to match the Economic Monitor (EM) app. However, the fields and logic used by the app should be confirmed with the content team that manages EM.

The code below can be used to fetch RICs based on the filters applied (modify as needed) instead of exporting it manually from the app. The returned RICs can then be populated into the Excel file containing the required formulas which was downloaded.

One additional observation: I believe the date filter in the EM app is based on NextReleaseDate, but this is only my assumption. I also noticed a few rows appear to be missing, so it would be worth validating the exact logic and field selection with the support/content team.

Please note that although support cases may be routed back to us because an API is involved, this appears to be a content/business logic question rather than an API issue. The API is only used to retrieve data, and we do not know which fields the EM app uses internally. When reaching out to support, please include a link to this discussion so the context is available and the query can be directed to the appropriate content team.
