I'm having a problem using the get_data function in lseg.data.

Specifically, if even a single RIC code is not recognized or is inaccessible, the query consistently returns the message “Bad Request: Requested universes.”

Why doesn’t the get_data function under lseg.data behave as it did in the previous version (in Eikon), which allowed us to receive a response to our query by retrieving data for valid RIC codes?

Please note that the RICs submitted in the query are generated by the Search function.

This behavior is constraining if we have many rics to sumbit.

I have done a quick test and found that the library (ld.get_data) returns data properly although one item in the universe is invalid.

        ]

However, the problem could be from the backend service. To verify what the problem is. you can enable the debug log in the library by following the methods mentioned in this LSEG Data Library Vol. 1: Calls That Do More article.
