As I understand upon reading the documentation in the developers portal, the Refinitiv Data Platform is being phased out and being replaced with LSEG Data Platform. But the step-by-step guide sent by you in your welcome email links to the older Refinitiv Data Platform.

See the first line of the overview which mentions that LSEG Data Library is version 2 of Refinitiv Data Library for Python. i.e. LSEG Data Library provides access to LSEG Data Platform. As I understand the syntax of python code is also slightly different.
Also, within the documents, I saw a mention that the authorisation via V1 (using Password and App Key) will not be supported and will be migrated to V2 (using client Secret). So I am confused as to why my setup is being done using the unsupported version.

Can you please confirm that although we are now in Workspace, the interface still shows as EIKON data API? In case there is a more updated version, can you please let us know?
