Error code 2504 | UDF Core request failed. Gateway Time-out

Been getting these errors over the past couple of days. I have

ek.__version__Out[144]: '1.1.18'

And get the errors for ek.get_timeseries(riclist, ['CLOSE'], start_date = '2025-12-15'). I have ensured riclist is restricted, and time between API calls is appropriate. I raised this to the Helpdesk who confirmed replication. They advised

It is a backend issue. We can't access the backend to verify the cause of this issue. You need to contact the product support team to verify the issue in the backend service.

The Eikon Data API uses the legacy endpoint to retrieve historical data while the new library uses the new endpoint (historical pricing API) to retrieve historical data.

Although the Eikon Data API (EDAPI) is considered feature-complete and remains compatible with the LSEG Workspace application, its support and maintenance were discontinued. Therefore, we encourage users to upgrade to our next generation LSEG Data Library for Python | Devportal as part of the LSEG Workspace migration.
