1.Client would like to know more about below WORKSPACE office add-in update on VBA, such as how to use it?

2.Please provide an example Excel file with several tabs, and each tab contains some refinitiv formulas. These tabs need to be refreshed sequentially using VBA.I want to know your VBA best practice. The formula doesn't matter, it could be RHISTORY or TR formulas.

Hello @Jirapongse, I am checking the original question with PM but he is on leave. Client asked a follow up, he wants to know if we have VBA user guide for reference.

His main goal is that we can tell him how to write correct VBA code to refresh each sheet sequentially. Below is what he said.

"I can write the Workspace formula myself, but what I need is VBA code to refresh each sheet sequentially. Actually, we've written this VBA code ourselves, but it often gets stuck halfway through, and the results aren't ideal. My colleague Xueni (cc’d) also reported this problem, but it hasn't been resolved. So I'm thinking, instead of having Refinitiv support patch our existing code, it would be better for Refinitiv to tell us the correct way to write this."

@yisong.liu Thanks for your question - so the Refresh syntax has changed from Eikon to workspace as follows:

You can run this in VBA as follows:

Option Explicit
Public Sub WorksheetRefresh()

    Dim f_upd As Integer

    f_upd = Application.Run("WorkspaceRefreshWorksheet")

End Sub

Note: f_upd = number of formulae in the Worksheet that were updated
