while trying new DNS as per "PCN215272-DataScope Select & Tick History API Access Changes Requiring Client Action", we get erro 502 "Bad Gateway". What is the meaning of this?

If the client has already changed the DNS to selectapi.datascope.lseg.com (as per PCN215272-DataScope Select & Tick History API Access Changes Requiring Client Action post), I strongly suggest you contact the DSS Support Team via https://support.lseg.com/s/?formtype=ProductQuery website directly.
The 502 bad gateway is clearly a network issue. It means the destination server (DSS REST in this case) is invalid or no response.
It is not related to the client or API side.
