Q re LSEG Data Platform vs Refinitiv Data Platform API

I have a question regarding the API being used by the lseg-data library. Is it the LSEG Data Platform APIs or the Refiinitv Data Platform APIs that is being used in the background? If it is the LSEG Data Platform APIs, could you provide me with the documentation for it? I see documentation for Refinitiv Data Platform APIs in the catalogue but not LSEG Data Platform APIs.

LSEG Data Platform APIs is a rebranded name for Refinitiv Data Platform APIs. They are the same. LSEG Data Platform APIs is on Cloud and typically it provides service endpoints to retrieve data.

You can access the API Playground to check all available services on the LSEG Data Platform APIs.

The lseg-data library is a library that can connect to either Workspace Desktop or LSEG Data Platform APIs to retrieve data.

The Refinitiv Data Platform is being renamed to LSEG Data Platform, and it is being used as a backend of LSEG Data Library (platform access point). Hence, you could use the document that you found.
