refinitiv.data library service account

Question

Hi,

I'm using refinitive.data to get CB meeting dates, I'm doing that by logging into workspace with my username and password, then creating an API key, then in my python code I use that locally, but I want to look to move this to production and that's where I need a service account. Just looking for guidance on how people have done that here before.

Thanks just reading now on creating a gMSA account or standard account, I'm guessing gMSA at the moment.

Yes, the refinitiv.data library can retrieve data from both the Workspace desktop session (local) and the Data Platform session (Cloud).

To retrieve data from the Data Platform session, you need the Data Platform account.
