I created an EDP API with applib. Im now testing the connection in python What is the correct username i should use and where i find it ?

I have LSEG workspace running on my machine but i run python in a cloud environment and want to use the API endpoint I created

If you run an application on the Cloud environment, you need to use the LSEG Data Platform, not the Workspace.

Please contact your account team to get the Data Platform account access as suggested by my colleague.

What do you mean by "I created an EDP API with applib"?

You need to have a Data Platform account to connect to the LSEG Data Platform and the LSEG Workspace users need to retrieve data though the LSEG Workspace desktop session.

The client needs to contact their LSEG account team or sales team directly for more information regarding the LSEG Data Platform account.
