(I had a month long conversation with LSEG Dev. Team about a Cache folder issue which occurred when updating via DC Index files after several thousand charts failed.
This issue was finally solved by the LSEG Dev. Team allowing in settings_ “''Draw at server”.)
I am of the firm opinion that
- MY DC INDEX FILES ARE NOT AT FAULT: The error happens across several DC Index Xls updater files (which all worked). Connection to Workspace Chart Library all fine. Individual update of Pptx with embedded charts all fine.
- NOR IS MY PC SETUP. The issue occurs on 2 independent PCS.
(I am not looking into your below mentioned “VBA Reference, Eikon is dead).
As you wished I add a sample DC Index Xls updater file – I’ve got many of them, they’re all fine.
I suggest a remote session.
