by using this code, i received the file with the name below: TM3_BAMAAA2026-07-09T160000.000-0400''

its not possible to replace file name with meaningful one on Windows platform

The TM3_BAMAAA2026-07-09T160000.000-0400 is an actual TM3 file name stored on the AWS S3. The Data Library cfs.file_downloader.Definition just download a bulk file "as is", including its name.

You can contact the TM3 Support Team to clarify the TM3 file naming convention.

An application must manually rename the file after downloaded it.

Example with the Python pathlib library.

from pathlib import Path


# Initialize the file path object

file_path = Path("./TM3_BAMAAA2026-07-09T160000.000-0400")


# Rename the file

file_path.rename("./TM3_file.txt")
