Retrieval limitation on API

Hi Team, I am raising this request on behalf of a client, please see the query below

Client is trying to retrieve a data using API, when it suddenly stops retrieving, client also stated that she was bale to retrieve the data last July, 2025 but not now

Client is trying to pull the Option Settle values for each strike level of every M+1,M+2, M+3 contract starting from 2024 on a daily basis, along with the Implied Volatility data.

May I kindly ask for your assistance to help client on a code she can use?

The client can use the LSEG Data Library for Python to pull data. The examples are available on GitHub.

You can share the Workspace Excel Formula that can be used to pull the required data. Then, I can convert it into the sample snippet code. Otherwise, you can also refer to the following articles.

I assume the code is running correctly, but it appears that no data could be retrieved for the following request: "Pulling 2025-09 | expired=True | 2025-06-01 00:00:00 to 2025-08-31 00:00:00".

Is this where the problem occurs?

If so, the code used the attached RICs to request daily historical data from 2025-06-01 to 2025-08-31. Every request returned the following error:

(TS.Interday.UserRequestError.70005, The universe is not found)

This typically indicates that the requested RICs are not valid or are not recognized by the historical pricing service. You may need to contact the Content team to verify the correct TFOM option RICs for the 2025-09 contract month.

If this is not the issue you're referring to, could you please provide more details about the problem so that I can investigate further?

Hi thank you for responding, my problem with this code is that I'm trying to retrieve the settle data of each option contract that belongs to m+1-m+2-m+3 for every strike that is available and want to have implied volatility along with it. Nevertheless, when I use this code, I'm only able to get the data for a specific period, for example in this one only until July 2025 I was able to retract the data. I do not get any error messages but the code just stops working :( So in order to pull the data I'm talking about, what should I do?
