1. What I'm trying to do
   • Pulling balance sheet / income statement data via the RDP REST API (api.refinitiv.com)
   • Need to switch between Standardized and Company-Specific (As-Reported) views, equivalent to the view toggle in Workspace
     
2. What you've already tried / context
   • Currently using the ReportingState=Rsdt parameter via the Refinitiv Data Library (Excel/Python)
   • Asking whether the same functionality is available via direct REST API calls
     
3. Specific questions to ask
   • Are these endpoints still current and production-ready?
     • .../views/income-statement-brief/standardized
     • .../views/income-statement-brief/as-reported
     • .../views/balance-sheet-brief/standardized
     • .../views/balance-sheet-brief/as-reported
   • Is permId the only supported identifier, or can RICs also be used?
   • Is there a ReportingState equivalent parameter in the REST API?

First, please verify whether the client is a Workspace Desktop user or an LSEG Data Platform user.

Workspace Desktop users should not use their Workspace credentials to connect directly to the LSEG Data Platform, as doing so may violate applicable data usage policies or licensing agreements. The client should contact their LSEG account representative or the LSEG sales team to confirm their entitlements and ensure their intended usage is compliant with the relevant licensing terms.

For the client's questions:

1. It may relate to this LSEG Company Snapshot delivered via API product. Please contact the client's LSEG account team or sales team for more information.
2. If the client is using the rd.get_data() method to retrieve data, they can configure the library to connect through a Platform session using valid LSEG Data Platform credentials and then rerun the code to verify whether the data can be retrieved through that session.
   
   As far as I am aware, due to licensing and entitlement restrictions, certain datasets may be available through a Workspace Desktop session but not through a Platform session. Therefore, the results may differ depending on the session type and the client's data entitlements.
3. Those URLs are from the beta version of the /data/company-fundamentals/beta1/ endpoint. The current version is v1 (/data/company-fundamentals/v1/). I checked the user guide and found that it supports RIC and Reporting State.
