https://api.refinitiv.com/auth/oauth2/v1/token - 429 - Request Rate Too High

Question

Understanding i have misused the api as i should cache and refresh token. However seems like for the past 4 hours I have been stuck with Error Code 429. What is the cool down period till I can use it normally?

LSEG AI suggest contacting Customer Success Manager, however I am not getting a response, hence wonder what is the cooling period till I can test again?

I checked and found that:

The auto-unblock is happening after 2 hours. However, if client has violated the rule 3 times in a day (3 times with 2 hours) it will be blocked permanently.

You need to contact the helpdesk team via LSEG Support to confirm this and unblock the account.
