API for RIC-to-PDP Lookup

Hi Team. I'm reaching out on behalf of a client inquiry I'm currently handling (Case #16507816) and would appreciate your expertise.

Client Background: David Winter, Market Data Manager at JP Morgan Chase, is looking for an API solution that allows him to input a RIC (e.g., ABBN.S) and retrieve the list of PDP (Platform Distribution Package) codes associated with it ideally in a bulk or automated manner.

What We've Explored So Far:

1. /data/pricing/snapshots/v1/ endpoint — This returns the PROD_PERM field, which provides the PE (Permission Entity) code, but not the PDP codes directly.
2. Bulk Real-Time RICs Search API (reference article) — This works in the opposite direction: it takes a PE or PDP code as input and returns the associated RICs. It does not support the reverse lookup (RIC → PDP).
3. DACS Lookup Tool on MyAccount — This can map a RIC to its PDP codes, but it is a UI-based tool and is not accessible via API, making it unsuitable for automated processes.

The Client's Ask: Is there an existing API — or a workaround — that allows a client to input a RIC and programmatically retrieve its associated PDP codes? If not currently available, is this something on the roadmap?

Thank you for reaching out to us.

As far as I know, we do not have a RIC-to-PDP lookup API.

However, we do provide DACS APIs that can retrieve DACS product codes using a PE (Permission Entity), as mentioned in this discussion.

Therefore, the client would first need to obtain the PE associated with the RIC, and then use that PE with the DACS APIs to retrieve the corresponding DACS PDP codes.
