Query on user authorization using test server test client

Question

Hello Team,

We are using test server for testing our application. Current version which application using is RFA8.2 for C++. Application is subscribed to MMT_MARKET_PRICE for hEDD service.

In recent past, due to one release from Refiniv, we faced authorization error and authentication was successful.

Kindly suggest, if we can simulate similar case locally using test server test client.

Using response_mode and selecting 3 NonRecovery Status Response applies to the item response, not the login response.

This seems to be at the login response but we want login to be successful and user authorization should fail such that it won't receive market data payload and get status as closed or suspect.

@Neha Magarde Thank you for reaching out. When a user account does not have permission to subscribe to an item, the server responds with a status message indicating that the stream state is CLOSED. I am not sure if this can exactly replicate this "Not entitled" status code. Please contact the RTDS support team directly via LSEG Support to verify this. 

Alternatively, you could modify the StarterProvider_Interactive example included in the RFA C++ package to publish the required messages and reproduce the scenario.
