Hi,
How do I pip install lseg-data in Jupyter? Who can I ask to resolve this?
Hello @Zhenqiang Seto
The error indicates that a network proxy or firewall, such as Zscaler, is preventing pip from downloading the LSEG Data Library package from PyPI repository.
pip
This is clearly a network issue.
Is it raised from LSEG internal user or external user?
Thanks @Wasin Waeosri, I am an internal user. How can I resolve this?
Thank for the clarification. Please be informed that the company network policy blocks direct access to Python PyPI repository.
I am assuming that you want to connect the library to the Workspace. There is the Cloud-Hosted Jupyter Notebook app with built-in LSEG Data Library and other libraries (matplolib, numpy, plotly, etc) on the Workspace desktop application. The app is called "CodeBook".
If you need to use the LSEG Data Library on your local jupyter, please contact the ServiceNow team to help you set up Python library access from your machine.
Ok noted, thanks @Wasin Waeosri !
