If we would like to use the API with a platform license, would there be any additional cost involved?

From what I understand, the Eikon Data API can only be used while Workspace is running. However, the LSEG Data Library appears to support key-based authentication. Could you please advise whether this understanding is correct, and let us know what license or setup would be required for this type of API usage?

1. Please advise API data limit this WS user can use (eg. Number of requests, Volume and etc)

2. Please confirm if this WS for IB user can access/use LSEG Data Library without additional license

For question 2, I'm not quite sure about the account and access as much as the API usages topic, please check with Account manager or CSM regarding this. As far as I know, once users have license to LSEG Workspace, they can access LSEG Data Library but please confirm with account representative team.

Plus, I'd recommend user to use LSEG Data Library for Python - LSEGData Library for Python | Devportal, which is our newest and strategic one, new features will be added into this only. and Eikon Data API library is considered feature complete.
