When I am running the R code using Refinitv API, it always gave me the error 2026-06-02 13:32:51,973 P[14388] [MainThread 21524] UDF Core request failed. Gateway Time-out

I am Kara and Rei helped me post the issue here. Can I get some help from you regarding to migrating or changing the R-code? It's quite urgent for our team so i don't have much time to explore it

According to the error, it should be the problem in the backend service. Please contact the product support team to verify this issue.

Eikon Data API is quite old and we don't provide any official R libraries.

The client needs to migrate the code to use the LSEG Data Libraries instead which support Python, .NET, and TypeScript.

For R, the client may use RefinitivR, which is a third-party library. However, this R library is not officially supported by LSEG.
