Hi,
We’re experiencing an “Error initializing channel” message in SpeedGuide after entering the V2 credentials. Please find the details attached. Any feedback or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
@amedeo.medaglia0
Thank you for reaching out to us.
According to the error, it relates the SSL certificate issue.
Please be informed that the certificates in RTO have been updated, as mentioned in this discussion.
Real-Time - Optimized is updating its SSL root certificate from Comodo to Sectigo.
Sectigo already exist alias <sectigo-root-r46> already existsTried with several java version imported again certificates but have the same error
Thanks for any feedback
There has been a recent PCN where Real-Time - Optimized has updated the SSL root certificate from Comodo to Sectigo. As a result, you should be able to specify your own keystore to include the Sectigo certificate.
To generate your own certificate, you can use the following command:
keytool -importcert -trustcacerts -alias sectigo-root-r46 -file sectigo-root-r46.cer -keystore sectigo.jks -storepass <choose a password>
You will have to obtain the sectigo certificate (.cer) file to run the above command.
The SpeedGuide utility does have optional parameters to point to your own certificate.
Hope this helps.
